Haiti - Politic : Edwin Zenny denounces the wave of appointments of former President Préval

In a statement made in the press of Jacmel, the Senator Edwin Zenny (INITE - South-East), has announced that the team of President Michel Martelly would look faster on the issue of appointments that were made at the end of term of former President René Préval and of his government.

The Senator Edwin Zenny stated that is inconceivable to tolerate this wave of appointments in several sectors, including justice, education and health. He describes these appointments "of political coup" aiming to destabilize the Government of Martelly "It is not possible at the end of the reign of René Préval, that his Government take pleasure to appoint several persons of the public administration, in order to continue with the same practices of the old system of governance, while only a few days before departure of the team Préval/Bellerive, he announced layoffs."

The Senator indicated that all the qualified persons of the public administration, that have been revoked in the region, will soon be returned to their post.
