End of the Magistrates' strike
The magistrates announced their decision to resume their work on Tuesday April 20 after more than 60 days of strike https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-33526-haiti-justice-towards-the-end-of-the-indefinite-strike-of-the-magistrates.html . Moreover this decision does not mean the resumption of the functioning of the courts, the prosecutors in truce in their strike expect from the Executive, the satisfaction of their demands and despite this decision, due to the insecurity no magistrate has surrendered in the workplace.
Diaspora USA : How to get your CIN ?
The Embassy of Haiti in Washington DC brings to the attention of the Haitian community in the United States and to any Haitian wishing to obtain the Unique National Identification Card that he can register by going to the Embassy or consular post closest to his residence, provided with his passport and one of the following documents :

Over a million CINs not yet distributed
Monday, April 19 Jude Jacques Elibert Director General of the National Identification Office (ONI) indicated that 4,437,120 National Identification Cards (CIN) are already registered in the database, i.e. 91,120 more than last April 8 (11 days ) 2021 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-33463-haiti-politic-more-than-230-000-new-voters-registered-in-1-month.html More than 3,200,000 CIN have been distributed. Elibert, recognizes problems in the delivery of CINs regarding name checks which causes some delay and citizens who do not claim their card. In addition, he revealed that more than 19,000 Haitians in the diaspora have obtained their CIN.
