Haiti - Agriculture : The World Bank monitors the projects it finances
At the beginning of the week, Patrix Sévère, the Minister of Agriculture accompanied by Jean-Mary Robert Chéry National Coordinator of the Strengthening of Public Agricultural Services (RESEPAG) project had a working meeting with a delegation from the World Bank representation (BM) in Haiti composed of Laurent Msellati, Head of Operations of the BM, Christophe Grosjean, Specialist in agricultural projects and Omar Lyasse in charge of operations for Haiti.

This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss all the projects of the Ministry of Agriculture financed by the World Bank. Minister Sévère and Christophe Grosjean took the opportunity to discuss the progress of the contract for the installation of equipment for the Hydrometeorological Unit of Haiti and the prospects for future support from the World Bank to the agricultural sector in a context health crisis and food insecurity.
