CEP deeply concerned

The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) says it is deeply concerned by the increase in threats from the radical opposition on the holding of the Constitutional referendum on June 27. However, the CEP remains confident about the security arrangements planned to facilitate the holding of the referendum in peace and security.

The CEH asks Moïse to abandon the referendum

The Haitian Bishops' Conference (CEH) urges President Jovenel Moïse to renounce the constitutional referendum "Giving up the referendum project would be the wise decision. Avoid, we beg you, that the country still knows dark days and even worse than those we are currently experiencing [...]"

Towards a political agreement with the opposition ?

According to Mathias Pierre Minister Delegate to the first Minister, in charge of Electoral Questions "The Government is working on a political agreement with the members of the opposition. However, to avoid any delay in the process all the installation will be done. The elections will take place this year because we will not let the country fall into political chaos". For its part, the radical opposition denies working on any political agreement with the Government and is preparing to boycott the Constitutional referendum on June 27.

Access to employment for people with disabilities

Saturday, May 29, the job fair for the benefit of people with disabilities held at Karibe Hotel was once again an opportunity for the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of People with Disabilities to work in its mission and its objective to allow or even increase the opportunities of access to employment for people with disabilities.
