Following the audit on the management of Me Marjorie Alexandre Brunache, former Minister Counselor at the Embassy of Haiti in Washington (2011-2015) and former head of the Consulate of Haiti in Boston (2016-2017), the Financial Chamber of the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Litigation (CSC/CA), issued a judgment condemning Me Brunache to return to the Public Treasury the sum of 15,940 US dollars "The court put on 'débet' the lady Marjorie Alexandre Brunache for irregularities having tainted her management, condemns her to the restitution of $15,940 for the benefit of the public treasury, orders the maintenance of the legal mortgage on its movable and immovable property for the benefit of the State until the clearance of its management account, one can reads on this judgment of debet.

In a press note, Marjorie Alexandre Brunache reacted strongly to this condemnation, which she describes as "unfair, incorrect, biased and malicious".

Press note from Me Marjorie Alexandre Brunache :

"I hereby want to denounce with indignation and the greatest vehemence an arbitrary and unjust judgment, taken by the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Litigation against me on July 29, 2021. To my surprise and to the detriment of all common sense and in flagrant violation of my rights to have access to healthy and fair justice, the CSC/CA published on its Twitter account an unfair, incorrect, biased and malicious decision, a judgment of 'débet' and a condemnation to reimburse the Haitian state the sum of $15,940 US dollars.

In a dubious amalgamation, my name is sullied and associated with predators of the Republic. Until that moment, I have not yet received the meaning of the judgment which would have allowed me to defend myself and refute point by point the facts which would be reproached to me.

I am already announcing to you that I will defend my honor and my reputation to the end and that I will exercise all the remedies made available to me by the laws of the Republic.

I must admit that I am hurt to the depths of my soul. I have always served my country with honesty, dignity and competence. My only fault is to have put my knowledge at the service of the Fatherland. As a reward, my reputation and honor hang in the mud. I am disgusted but I will bring out the truth in the eyes of my compatriots around the world."
