Haiti - FLASH : Haitian passport the most limited in the Caribbean
As every year the British consultancy firm "Henley & Partners" published its 2021 ranking of 199 passports for 227 different travel destinations.

The Henley Passport Index 2021 Visa Restriction Index is an index that classifies passports according to the number of countries of destination without the need to apply for a visa prior to arrival or upon arrival.

Top 3 most powerful passports in the world :
1 - Japan : access to 192 countries;
2 - Singapore : access to 192 countries;
3 - Germany : access to 190 countries;

TOP 3 of the most powerful passports in the Caribbean :
1 - St. Kitts and Nevis : access to 157 countries (26th in the world)
2 - Bahamas : access to 155 countries (27th in the world)
3 - Saint Vincent and the Grenadines : access to 151 countries (30th in the world)

Haiti is the last of the Caribbean countries and allows access to 48 countries in the world without a visa. (100th in the world).

Our neighbor the Dominican Republic allows access to 69 countries in the world without a visa (79th in the world).

The report also denounces "growing inequalities". According to the document, some developed countries would use health restrictions to curb mobility from countries in the South "If we want revive the global economy, it is essential that developed countries encourage internal migration flows, instead of persisting with outdated restrictions," said Christian Kälin, CEO of Henley & Partner.
