Ambassador Daniel Foote is for the creation of an anti-gang Task Force within the National Police of Haiti (PNH) composed of several units including commandos. According to Foote these commandos will have to be well trained, equipped at all levels and its members will have to undergo an investigation into their antecedent and pass a polygraph test.

Disagreement on the merger of the agreements

Migration from Haiti a "very important" problem

On Saturday, October 9, Ken Salazar the United States Ambassador to Mexico, during a press conference described the migration from Haiti as a "very important" problem for the United States and Mexico, adding that the solution must be led by both countries. Job fair

Saturday morning, the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) participated in the job fair organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in partnership with ADV, Banj and Push which brought together dozens of young people from the Boussole Haiti program in order to explore employment opportunities within several institutions.

Food For The Poor drilled 120 wells

The International NGO Food For The Poor (FFTP) has drilled 120 wells across the territory since the start of 2021. In addition, FFTP with the help of "Water Mission", has installed 169 filtration units of water through Haiti. Each unit purifies and chlorinates up to 10,000 gallons of water per day.
