Friday, November 19, 2021 at Toussaint Louverture International Airport, the Haitian National Police (PNH) arrested 3 American-Haitian nationals from the United States identified as : Jean Jules Jean Pierre, Bourdon Ether and Delva Marc Kerby, AND ALSO SEIZED 5 firearms and ammunition that they were attempting to enter Haiti illegally.

According to the PNH report, the weapons seized included a semi-automatic AR15 assault rifle of 5.56 caliber and four 9mm caliber pistols [3 Glock pistols and a Taurus pistol] as well as two boxes of 9mm caliber cartridges and a box of 5.56 X 45mm caliber cartridges (military version of the civilian version .223 Remington)

The Central Directorate of the Judicial Police, which holds the 3 individuals in custody for the rest of the procedure, has opened an investigation to determine the owner and recipients of these weapons.
