Minister Manigat intends to focus his initiatives in three priority action areas: - the Great South devastated by the earthquake of August 14, which requires the mobilization of more sustained efforts and for which the State, Haitian civil society and the international community must work in perfect synergy; - lawless areas plagued by organized crime preventing children from going to school. This is in violation of their right to education at all times.
