Haitian arrested with 9.75kg of cocaine
Officers from the Border Police (PoliFront) and the Haitian National Police (PNH) arrested in Ouanaminthe, from the Dominican Republic, a Haitian identified as Yvon Joseph who was carrying 9.75 kilos of cocaine in a travel bag. The trafficker was taken into custody and the drugs seized.

The Youth Association for Community Advancement (AJAC) deplores the behavior of archaic Haitian politicians who reject Haitian youth from the political scene.
DR : 15,420 Haitians intercepted in the border area
According to Colonel Germán Rosario Pérez, who commands the 4th army brigade, based in Mao (Prov. Valverde) September 1 to November 2021, 15,420 Haitians (12,009 men and 3,411 women) in an irregular migratory situation were intercepted, detained and repatriated to Haiti after illegally crossing the border.
AIDS figures in Haiti
According to data from July 2021, out of the estimate of 154,000 People Living with HIV in Haiti (PLHIV) in Haiti, 89% or 137,802 PLHIV know their HIV status; 79% of those diagnosed receive antiretroviral treatment; 67% of people on treatment have had a viral load test and 57% of them have an undetectable viral load. The undetectable viral load is the condition to stop the chain of transmission of the virus. The national multi-sector plan reinforces the resolution that by the end of 2023, Haiti will be on the path to eliminating the HIV epidemic by 2030.
The fuel will increase
On Thursday 2 December at the National Palace, the first Council of Ministers of the new Government was held. At the heart of the discussions, the Government's intention to increase the price of fuel at the pump confirms Ricarden St-Jean, the Minister of Trade and Industry while specifying that compensation measures for the vulnerable layers are under study. There is no fixed date yet but talks are underway with oil companies, distributors and unions to find an acceptable compromise for the decisions to be made.
