Haiti Unity Summit appoints a Provisional President
Friday at Southern University Law Center in Louisiana, the consortium of Haitian organizations in the diaspora proceeded to the opening of Haiti Unity Summit, a forum that seeks to find an agreement around agreements to end the crisis in Haiti. The delegates of various crisis resolution proposals and political agreements present at the Summit (Citizens Engaged for a Crisis Exit - CESOC, "Kontra Pep la", "Lari a Accord", Women's Accord, Middle Accord, Montana Accord, Final agreement) after 2 days of workshop, appointed the former Governor of the Central Bank, the economist Fritz Alphonse Jean as provisional President of Haiti. The delegates also appointed Ms. Myriam Fethière as Provisional Prime Minister.
"Our current production is only 45 Mw for a demand of 274 Mw at the level of the metropolitan area. Currently, we are doing a rotating distribution to serve the maximum number of subscribers. My priorities : increase production and modernize the network," Jean Errol MOROSE Director General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH).

Opening of the "Vives" exhibition
On Saturday January 15, the opening at Maison Dufort of the "Vives" exhibition took place. The Art Center would like to thank the French curator, Régine Cuzin and Team P P who have produced impeccable work in less than two weeks. The "Vives" exhibition is open to the general public until February 13, 2022 at Maison Dufort #9, 2nd rue du Travail (Bois Verna).
