For De León, "these measures are the result of coordinated efforts between the two countries," stressing that the Haitian representative travels with Dominican representatives, the border area, to detect and note the irregular actions.

Adding that on the instructions of President Luis Abinader, responses have been made to the points agreed upon in the last meeting between civilians, military, police, cattle breeders and other sectors of the Dajabón border area.

In this context, General Commander Pérez indicated that a special unit against cattle theft had been set up, made up of 30 soldiers acting in coordination with Consul De León "We met the Consul, government officials and breeders, and we were able to work together to control the theft of goods and the theft of animals [...] We are sure that with the launch of this unit, which patrols 24 hours a day, we will solve a problem that is several years old decades [...]"

Besides the 30 soldiers of the cattle rustling unit, four trucks, 30 motorcycles, drones and intelligence personnel will be used to gather information and determine how these events occur at the border.
