Haiti, has been trying since November 2021, in vain so far, to obtain the extradition of businessman Samir Handal, arrested on November 15, 2021 at Istanbul airport, upon his arrival on a flight of Turkish Airlines from Miami, in transit to Jordan https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-35253-haiti-flash-samir-handal-suspect-in-the-assassination-of-president-moise-arrested-in-turkey.html suspected of being involved in the plot that led to the assassination of President Moïse.
