The funeral of the young Deputy of 41 years, Dionald Polyte, who died Monday, July 24, in an accidental shooting of one of his bodyguards [Ronald Souffrant], will be celebrated on August 30 and 31.

Lucien Francoeur, General Secretary of the Lower House, said that a ceremony will be held on August 30 in the sessions room of the House. The body of parliamentarian will be transported in his hometown, Duchity, and religious ceremonies and a sung Mass will be organized.

After the sudden disappearance of Dional Polyte, the office of the Chamber of Deputies had established a Commission of Inquiry to shed light on this tragedy. The Commission report is still awaited.

Meanwhile, the bodyguard in question, Ronald Souffrant, was indicted for manslaughter
