1 Chilean missionary kidnapped

Esteban Zambrano Leiva (32), a Chilean Christian missionary in Haiti since 2011, was kidnapped at gunpoint by two individuals near his home in Port-au-Prince. The kidnappers are demanding 100,000 dollars for his release, confirmed his wife, also a missionary.

2 cargo trucks hijacked

Two goods trucks were hijacked by bandits in the Drouillard area.

2 Belgians kidnapped

Two Belgian nationals were kidnapped earlier this week in Pétion-ville.

11th month of freedom for the President's assassins

Ambulances at 3 airports

The National Ambulance Center (CAN) and the National Airport Authority (AAN) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide pre-hospital emergency care to travelers and staff. This agreement provides for the pre-positioning of a medical ambulance at the airports of Port-au-Prince, Cap-Haitien and Les Cayes and the CAN ambulance teams (drivers, nurses and first aiders) will work together with the medical staff of the NAA.

North-East : Studies for the implementation of a landfill site
