Haiti - Politic : Former Chief of Cabinet of the Clinton Foundation, candidate for Prime Minister ?
According to sources close to the Parliament [unconfirmed by the Office of the President], the President Martelly, after a meeting Monday, with the presidents of both houses, would have presented Dr. Garry Conille, as the person that he would like to designate as the next candidate for Prime Minister. A choice that thus, would take into account, of the requirements of the majority group, including a non-confrontational personality, competent, which is not from the immediate circle of the Head of State.

Rodolphe Joazile and Sorel Jacinthe would have promised to the President, to consult the different parliamentary groups to assess the chances of ratification of this possible candidate.

Garry Conille, [45 years] is close to the Bill Clinton Foundation, was Chief of staff and Special Envoy for Haiti of former U.S. President. Doctor by profession, former student of the College Canado-haïtien, he studied at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of the UEH of Port-au-Prince and made a specialization at the University of North Carolina in the United States. He is since two months, Resident Coordinator of United Nations system in Niger.
