Thursday, July 21, agents of several special units of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) and customs, during a search operation at the wharf of Port-de-Paix of the ship EL-SHADDAI from the United States have discovered a clandestine shipment of arms and ammunition.

Weapons and ammunition seized:

7 handguns:

4 x 40 caliber pistols;

2 9mm caliber pistols;

1 38 caliber revolver

434 ammo:

55 .38 caliber rounds;

182 .40 caliber cartridges;

197 cal cartridges. 9mm

9 magazines:

6 caliber 40;

3 of caliber 9mm.

According to a police source there was no immediate arrest...

Since the beginning of this month of July 2022, this is the fifth seizure of arms and ammunition shipments from the United States made by PNH units as part of the execution of a special security contingency plan.
