During the Gang War (July 7-17, 2022) between the G-9 an Fanmi e Alye gang coalition and the "G-Pèp" coalitionof the Nan Brooklyn neighborhood, led by Gabriel Jean Pierre alias "Ti Gabriel" many abuses were committed, no one was spared. While many men who crossed paths with bandits were murdered, women and girls were systematically victims of repeated or collective rape, beaten and humiliated with great violence.

The National Network for the Defense of Human Rights (RNDDH) has identified 52 victims with whom it spoke with each of the survivors whose it reports the terrifying stories.

The purpose of the RNDDH Report is, on the one hand, to denounce these attacks and, on the other hand, to provide the police and judicial authorities with precise information relating to the circumstances in which they were perpetrated and also to provide recommendations.

More than 20 women were raped in the presence of their children. Another in the presence of her parents and two in front of their spouses, says the RNDDH in its investigation. 6 women witnessed the execution of their husband before being raped and 4 were abused while pregnant.
