Suicide a tragedy in Haiti
The Mental Health Unit of the Ministry of Public Health marked, this Saturday, September 10, 2022, World Suicide Prevention Day by drawing attention to the magnitude of this tragedy in Haiti. Zero preventable maternal deaths in humanitarian situations thanks to the "hospitainer" (container hospital) offered by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Dr. Max Dervil of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Medical Director Dr. Sonel Févry successfully performed the first caesarean in the hospital located in Azile (155.2 km from Port-au-Prince).
