The 4th edition of the "Festithéâtrecréole", organized by the Compagnie Théâtre Créole, will take place in several locations in Montreal, as well as online from October 27 to November 5, 2022. A rich program of activities: Theater, poetry, music, humor , storytelling and talks, around the Creole language and theatre.

Under the theme: "Teyat, poto mitan nan divesite a" (Theatre at the center of diversity), several Creole communities, including the Malagasy and Reunionese communities, will be there to each bring their own colors.

The eminent poet and playwright Franco-Haitian Faubert Bolivar is the guest of honor of this 4th edition. Mr. Bolivar is also a teacher in Martinique. He will gratify us with a staging of one of his pieces "Jesika", which he concocted with the great Canadian-Haitian pianist David Bomptemps in addition to his participation in talks on language Creole and the theatre.

As part of the previous edition of the festival, the "Compagnie Théâtre Créole" made certain technical adjustments in order to offer a hybrid edition, sometimes available online or in theaters, or both simultaneously, which the team intends to repeat this year.
