Haiti - Environment : COP27, «The time for good intentions must be over» dixit Minister James Cadet
During this event, during his speech, James CADET, Minister of the Environment of Haiti, drew attention to the fact that Small Island Developing States and Least Developed Countries are very exposed to climate risks. all sorts. The time for good intentions must be over. The countries most affected by the phenomenon, such as Haiti, cannot wait any longer."
This high-level segment was also an opportunity for Cadet to launch a call for inclusion, broad participation from all countries "We also have a duty and responsibility to prioritize and strengthen the global climate fabric through real common actions, through the active and direct involvement of all peoples, all nations and all countries, in particular the Republic of China Taiwan, which continues to amaze the world with its environmental commitments in several countries, particularly in Haiti."
This 27th Conference aims to be the COP for the implementation of the Paris Agreement, in particular the measures of the Glasgow Pact.
