More than 200 gangs operate in Haiti
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the National Police of Haiti (PNH) co-chaired the meeting of the Technical Working Group of the Joint Support Program for the PNH with the participation of representatives of the US Dept. of State INL, the Embassy of Canada in Haiti, the Embassy of Japan in Haiti, Norway and Italy. National Education Fund (FNE) :
As part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the National Education Fund (FNE) is committed to supporting the school integration of children with special needs or reduced mobility in Haiti (One child in 10, lives with a disability according to the United Nations). The partnership established on July 25, 2022 with the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH), is a crucial step in the framework of support for organizations and structures in the field of education which work in favor of children. and/or young people with disabilities. Inclusive and quality education remains the essential guarantee to consolidate the future of all children in Haiti.
