FLASH Pope Benedict XVI is dead
Former German Pope Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger "Benedict XVI", a theologian who was the first pope in modern history to voluntarily leave office, resigning from his pontificate in 2013, died Saturday at the age of 95, announced the Vatican: "It is with regret that I announce that the Pope 'emeritus' Benedict XVI passed away today at 9:34 a.m., at the Mater Ecclesiae monastery in the Vatican.
