Unity, reconciliation, reconstruction and socio-economic recovery of the nation constitute the finest and most vibrant tribute that we can pay to our victims. May this devastating earthquake of January 12 inspire us and show us once again the path of solidarity, fraternity and real change for the benefit of our country."

To all those whose dreams died prematurely, smothered in concrete and blown away with their last breath. To all those who have gone before us: we still continue to keep the flame burning, and to honor your memory. We continue to fight for the Haiti that we all dream of and deserve. We continue to stand tall through thick and thin to manifest the vision of a land where life is good for all of its children.
Gone but not forgotten!
Rest in immortality."
