Haiti - Health : The National Ambulance Center carried out 8,062 interventions in 2022 24/01/2023 08:53:50 Types of interventions : 31 confirmed cases of Covid-19; 40 suspected Covid-19 cases; 266 suspected cholera cases; 674 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19); 301 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies); 1,649 obstetric emergencies; 525 Public Road Accidents; 2,790 transfers (references & lab tests); 594 traumas (injuries & fractures of varying degrees); 97 bullet wounds; 161 stab wounds; 34 burn cases 900 various conditions (malaise, diarrhoea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc...) Of the 8,062 cases handled by the CAN: 4,984 interventions took place in the West, 1,271 in the Artibonite, 622 in the North / North-East, 570 in the South-East, 447 in the North-West, 218 in the South.
