The President Michel Martelly, will receive tomorrow Tuesday, September 27 at 12:30 pm, his Ecuadorian counterpart, Rafael Correa Delgado [and Acting President of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR)] for an official visit of a few hours as part of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The President of the Republic will personally welcome the Ecuadorian Head of the State on the tarmac of the Toussaint Louverture Airport, where a joint press conference will be given before that the two statesmen go by helicopter to l'Estère [base camp of the Ecuadorian contingent] in the department of Artibonite.

During this visit, the two Heads of State will proceed with the inauguration of some infrastructure work done by the Ecuadorian military mission in the town of l'Estère with the financing of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR).

President Correa will return in the evening to Quito [capital of Ecuador].

The last visit to Haiti of President of Ecuador dates back to August 31, during the establishment of a technical and political secretariat of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) in Port-au-Prince and the launch of a plan of action for Haiti for an amount of $100 million.
