Haiti - Culture : Haiti at the Francophonie Festival in Washington 05/03/2023 10:15:17 The Washington Francophonie Festival celebrates the diversity and richness of the French language and Francophone communities around the world through a series of cultural events presented every spring in the United States capital. Since 2001, more than 40 embassies and partners have collaborated each year to present to the general public a range of experiences rooted in French culture. From Africa to the United States, via the Middle East, such as concerts, films, culinary experiences, literary fairs and conferences for all ages. Some activities in brief: Monday, March 6 : the French association "Washington accueil" https://www.washingtonaccueil.org is organizing an exhibition for its member-artists. On Friday March 10, 17 artists will present their works at the French Embassy of the French Embassy (4101 Reservoir Rd, NW Washington, D.C. – 20007. Tel: +1 (202) 944-6192 Cinema : 6 films by filmmaker Mario Delatour will be screened for this 2023 edition.
