About twenty civil society organizations including the collective 4 December, CONAHNE and the Karl Lévêque Center propose the creation of neighborhood defense groups by citizens and the declaration by the government of a state of emergency in the areas where such a provision is necessary, faced with what they call the "rise of brutal, invading and criminal terrorism". Over 500,000 cigarettes seized
The Specialized Land Border Security Corps (CESFRONT), thanks to intelligence work carried out in the municipality of Cabecera, province of Dajabón, seized 121,700 units of cigarettes (Comme il Faut, Capital...) from Haiti. Also yesterday, thanks to intelligence work carried out on El Morro beach in Montecristi, it seized the quantity of 420,000 units of Capital brand cigarettes.
