The UN calls for an end to the expulsions of Haitians
On Friday, April 28, 2023, as part of an emergency alert procedure, the 18 independent experts of the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) launched an appeal to the countries of the Americas and the Caribbean to suspend deportations of Haitians as their country faces an unprecedented wave of violence. From January to March 2023 the Dominican Republic repatriated more than 75,000 Haitians.

These exams must respect the program, be concise, clear and accessible while remaining subject to psychometric and pedagogical criteria, hence the importance of training these experts in order to ensure that the exam texts produced will be of high quality.
