Police take RAID courses
Groups of about twenty Haitian police officers take part in 15-day training courses, carried out by experts from the elite French unit RAID (Research, Assistance, Intervention, Deterrence), particularly in the fight against terrorism and kidnapping.
Limond Toussaint, the former Minister of Culture arrested
As part of an investigation into the disappearance, on May 10, 2023, of Max Henry Titus, the neighbor of the former priest and former Minister of Culture and Communication, with whom he had legal disputes, agents of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), arrested at his residence in Delmas 52, Limond Toussaint. Thomonde : The Town Hall imposes strict measures

Call on UN members to intervene in Haiti
Mauricio Ramirez Villegas, the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in the Dominican Republic, described as very worrying the fact that the worsening crisis in Haiti has not yet found a solution, for which reason he urged this week the States members to intervene in Haiti as a matter of urgency, to control gang violence, believing that all the conditions are met for such an intervention.
50,000 people will have drinking water
The National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA) and the Regional Office for Drinking Water and Sanitation (OREPA - Center) have launched work to rehabilitate the Gonaives water network. More than 90 km of pipes will be laid which will allow 50,000 people to have drinking water.
