Haitians take the streets peacefully

On Sunday July 9, 2023, thousands of Haitians took to the streets of Port-au-Prince to call for an end to the violence of criminal gangs and a resolution of the humanitarian crisis. According to UN estimates, heavily armed gangs control nearly two million people in Haiti.

A Memorandum of Understanding on the economic empowerment of Haitian women was signed between the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) and the International Fund for Cooperation and Development of Taiwan (Republic of China).

UN condemns attacks on medical facilities

Ulrika Richardson the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Haiti strongly condemns the violence against medical personnel and facilities in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince and in the rest of the country. Pierre Espérance heard by the jutice

As part of the investigation of the assassination case of President Jovenel Moïse judge Walter Wesser Voltaire heard, Pierre Espérance, the Executive Director of the Network for the Defense of Human Rights (RNDDH). At the end of the hearing, Espérance indicated that he had been heard as a witness and said that he hoped that all light would be shed on the assassination of former President Moïse.
