Haïti - Éducation : Le Ministre Manigat satisfait du bon déroulement des épreuves du Bac
Thursday, August 3rd, during a press briefing organized in the courtyard of the Saint-Louis de Bourdon college, following the visit of two examination centers housed in this college, Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of National Education is said to be "satisfied with the progress of the single baccalaureate exams in the 10 Departmental Directorates of Education."

The Minister specified "This satisfaction is based on the remarkable work done by all the educational agents mobilized during these four days (July 31 to August 3rd, 2023) in order to facilitate the reception of more than 110,000 students distributed in 598 centers located in all nooks and crannies of the country," adding that even in difficult areas such as Ganthier (West), Liancourt and Petite-Rivière (Artibonite), the students were able to compose.

Students whose application has been validated, in good and due form, but who have been prevented for valid reasons, will be able to compose during a session which will be organized by the Permanent Center for Evaluation during the month of August, in all the DDE, reassured the Minister Nesmy Manigat.

Once again, Minister Nesmy Manigat did not fail to speak well of the sacrifices made by the actors of the educational chain, namely parents, school principals and teachers; sacrifices to defend and preserve, again this year, the right of children to go to school and learn.

The Minister also praised the dedication of the students who, during the months of May, June and July, despite the weekly workload, accommodated themselves to participate in the learning compensation courses organized each weekend.

The good organization of these exams is due to the fact that this year there were only teachers who were involved in the conduct of the actual operation, from the heads of the exam centers to the supervisors, by the way. by supervisors and proctors. In addition, valuable work has been done by the network of young academics deployed as observers throughout the country.

In the same vein, it is necessary to take advantage of the mobilization of the National Police, particularly the Educational Community Police (EduPOL), to guarantee the security of the operation through all the school districts of the country.

It is also important to consider the support of the brigadiers of the Mobile First Aid Unit/Motorized Medical Emergency Service who, during these four days of examinations, assisted more than sixty candidates.l, victims of illness, 5 of whom were taken to hospital.

From this Thursday, August 3rd, teachers who will be involved in the correction of candidates' copies will receive, electronically, an authorization card with a QR Code, confirming their participation in this operation which should begin shortly.

As for the candidates, they will be able to receive this year, via their emails, registered on the platform of the ministry (www.menfp.gouv.ht), their transcripts; and if they pass these exams, they will receive, by the same electronic means, their diplomas legalized by both the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
