Thursday, for the third time, the Minister Nesmy Manigat visited the site of Lycée Marie-Jeanne in Port-au-Prince. During this visit, the Minister of National Education was accompanied by the Director General of the Office for the Monetization of Development Aid Programs (BMPAD), Fils-Aimé Ignace Saint-Fleur.

In preparation for the begin of the school year, the minister wanted to come and observe the progress of the work while encouraging the technicians to act more quickly with their work, so that the students and staff of the school can start the academic year 2023-2024 in these new premises.

The new location of Lycée Marie-Jeanne should facilitate the proper deployment of the renovated secondary school. It has 3 buildings consisting of 8 classrooms, 4 laboratory rooms, 3 practical work rooms and other spaces suitable for auditorium, administration, sanitary. The school will have a sports field.

Each classroom measures 67.5 square meters and will accommodate 50 students each.
