Haiti - FLASH : Final investigation report on Haiti from the UN Sanctions Committee
This Thursday, October 19, 2023, the Security Council is expected to vote on a draft resolution renewing for one year the sanctions regime in Haiti, which includes an arms embargo and targeted asset freeze and travel ban measures.

The Security Council Group of Experts, established by resolution 2653 (2022), has just published its final investigation report (S/2023/674) which was transmitted to the Security Council Committee concerning Haiti, which examined last September, informed the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH.

An edifying report which after 1 year of investigation puts the spotlight on the hands hidden in this crisis and those who profit from this crisis.

Without answering all the questions, this report will provide grist for the mill of those who want to know beyond the rumors and see the truth come to light...
