Vincent is among 11 defendants, including former Colombian soldiers and businessmen accused of helping provide funds and weapons and leading the nighttime attack on President Moïse's home. Vincent faces a maximum sentence of life in prison on charges including conspiracy to kill and kidnap a person outside the United States and conspiracy to provide material support and resources, according to his plea agreement . In a deposition signed by Vincent, he confirmed that he provided material support and services used to prepare and carry out the kidnapping and assassination of Moïse from February 2021 to July 7, 2021. The filing says Vincent advised co-conspirators on Haitian politics and attended meetings in Miami with key Haitian political and community figures. In the months leading up to the assassination, Vincent confirmed in his deposition that he had also met with co-conspirators in Haiti, who included Colombian mercenaries and Haitian-Americans. He also admitted that he was the passenger in the car driven by co-conspirator James Solages to the residence of President Moïse.
