Since the application of Dominican decree 668-22 which provides for the expulsion from Dominican territory of all foreigners in an irregular migratory situation, the number of controls and repatriation of Haitians has increased considerably.

Baptiste, Belladère (Rocher), Cornillon, Fonds-Verettes, Las Cahobas (Bateille), Savanette (Miguel)

For a Total of 23,157 repatriated

Added to this are 7,924 Haitians pushed back at the border

To these repatriations we must finally add the so-called "spontaneous" or "voluntary" returns which amount for the month of November 2023 to 29,655 Haitians +14.8% compared to the previous month.

Which brings to 492,240 the total number of Haitians returning to Haiti since January 2023 (224,614 repatriates, 51,496 returned, 216,300 returned "voluntarily" according to the Support Group for Returnees and Refugees (GAAR).
