Haiti - FLASH : Guy Philippe asks the FAd’H and the PNH to support the revolution
After calling for civil disobedience, former senator-elect Guy Philippe asked the police and army to support the people in what he described as a revolution aimed at changing the Government and not a coup.

Philippe assures that he is not coming to carry out a coup, but to tell the people that they must be the promoter of their own change "We have spoken with the population on several occasions and everywhere we go, the population says that she agrees on the need for a radical change in the functioning of the country, the population has accepted it and wants it."

In his appeal, he also urged the National Police to have the obligation to accompany people, since they are there to protect and serve, asking them at the same time not to accept intimidation...

"I ask the Haitian Army, the Protected Area Surveillance Brigade and the Police to support the people who need you. We are not enemies, you were born of the people and it is your duty to help the population get out of the situation they find themselves in, to get rid of this government [...] and give Haiti a new opportunity [...]"

Philippe asked the population to take to the streets, to close government offices except essential ones such as hospitals, the police station and others. He also asked not to destroy or burn anything as he understands that State facilities or vehicles belong to the people.

"All those who are in State vehicles, without doing anything, we will take away the keys from them, we will not destroy anything, because it was acquired with our money, because these vehicles are there to serve the country, we "We will not burn anything, we will not destroy anything, but we will take them and neutralize any agent that Ariel Henry has to intimidate," he declared.

He gave the example of Sri Lanka, where people came into the Prime Minister's house and said this is what they should do in Haiti.
