The E-Power power plant, attacked
Thursday January 1st, 2024, Armed individuals attacked the power plant of the E-Power company in the town of Cité Soleil. At least one of the company's employees was injured. The information was confirmed by the former mayor of the town Esaïe Beauchard.

Moïse clarifies his statements
Jean Charles Moïse, the leader of the radical opposition party "Pitit Dessalin" criticized for his call to destroy everything, made it clear that his call had been misinterpreted "[...] I did not ask to destroy walls but rather an entire economic system."

70 passengers on a boat held hostage
Wednesday January 31, 2024, armed individuals who were part of a gang led by "Bout ba" hijacked a boat which was traveling from Port-au-Prince to various communities in Grand’Anse.
