Haiti - Case Bélizaire : The President Martelly, asks for the creation of an Independent Commission
Back from the United States this Thursday, the President Martelly gave in the late morning, a press conference at the diplomatic lounge of the airport Toussaint Louverture. On the case Bélizaire the Head of State declared "I learned the decisions that were taken quickly by the deputies and senators, I understand them, but I think that [...] that asking that ministers resign and change, it is not a good thing for the country and it's not going to manage the problem. Which will manage the problem is to identify the problem and solve it.

Above all, we must seek to understand what is happening, how it happened, and why it happened like that. Is the only way, so that it does not happen again. That's how we built a country, that is how we install a democracy. The road to the rule of law is a road that is long, a slippery road. It is beautiful, but it is long and what happened, must serve as a lesson to us all [...] that's why, that to understand what happened, so that the government can understand, for that the President be able to make good decisions, I am asking the Prime Minister to establish an independent commission, to give me a report on everything that happened.

Parliament, each deputy and senators are important for democracy [...] for mutual respect, t is necessary that we could shed light on all the events that happened [...] I ask all those concerned, to calm down and to stand back [...]"
