Haiti - Politic : CARICOM imposes its conditions on the members of the Transition Council 24/03/2024 09:26:11
Saturday March 23, 2024, the members of the CPT held their first working session. They also worked on the mechanism for choosing the President of the Council but made no progress on the appointment of this President or a Prime Minister. Only the question of voting rights was discussed and adopted. This Sunday, March 24, discussions should continue and begin to raise names for the position of President of the Council and Prime Minister... On Monday March 25, the Council should present to CARICOM the mechanisms for the choice of the President of the CPT and the choice of the Prime Minister as well as the decisions on the right to vote in the Council.
