Haiti - FLASH : 17 bandits killed including 2 gang leaders (Video)

According to a report from the Haitian National Police (PNH), during operations carried out between February 29 and March 26, 17 bandits were fatally injured including gang leaders Ernst Julmé, alias "Ti Grèg" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-41949-haiti-flash-between-30-and-40-killed-in-petion-ville-in-5-days.html and Makandal, 17 firearms seized including : rifles 12 caliber, AK47 and M4 assault rifles, 9mm pistols and 1 vehicle seized.

These operations were carried out following attacks perpetrated on public and private institutions by heavily armed individuals wanting to establish a climate of terror in the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince.

In order to continue to secure and protect the lives and property of the population, the Acting Commander-in-Chief of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) Frantz Elbé, issued formal instructions to the heads of specialized units of the PNH in order to intensify operations to allow citizens to go about their business in complete peace of mind

Furthermore, as part of the continuation of police operations aimed at tracking down and apprehending armed bandits, several agents from the Intervention Brigade of the Delmas Police Station carried out, Tuesday March 26, 2024, police interventions in certain houses in Delmas 17, 19 and at the Airport Crossroads, through which thugs used it as a hiding place.
