3.77 tonnes of WASH equipment

In support of the Ministry of Public Health and Population and to improve hygiene conditions in the sites of displaced families in the metropolitan area, PAHO-Haiti delivered 3.77 tons of WASH equipment to the West Health Directorate. These materials will be distributed in 12 sites.

Friday May 31, 2024, Argentinian Ambassador César Alberto Faes paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Transitional Presidential Council, Edgard Leblanc Fils and the Presidential Advisor, Louis Gérald Gilles. Bilateral cooperation was at the heart of the exchanges. The possibility of exploring new avenues of cooperation between the two countries was also raised.

The day before the start of the hurricane season (June 1), the British Tropical Storm Risk Institute published an update of its forecasts.
