Although Haiti has failed to pass the second round of qualifiers for the World Cup on November 11, eliminated during a match against Antigua and Barbuda, 1-0, a final match took place yesterday afternoon at the Stade Sylvio Cator, the men's national football team, the Grenadiers have once again faced, in a match of consolation, of symbolic revenge, the Antiguan team, with this time Carlo Marcelin as coach, match won 2-1.

To the 9' minutes Tamarley Thomas scored the first goal of the match for Antigua and Barbuda,at half-time score was still 1-0 in favor of Antigua and Barbuda, but to the 60' minutes Judelin Aveska scored the first goal for the national team followed 5 minutes later by a second goal of Kervens Belfort, bringing the score to 2-1 in favor of Haiti.

On the six matches played, the Grenadiers have won 4, lost 1 and one draw.

Curacao - Haiti: 2-4
U.S. Virgin Islands - Haiti: 0-7
