Let's remember that the 9th fundamental year exams will take place from July 22 to 24, 2024

"Having regard to the ministerial decision of June 14, 2023 revising the compulsory subjects for the 9th A.F. exams;

Considering the ministerial decision of June 14, 2023 providing for the integration of four (4) new subjects in the 9th AF exams of 2024, namely Citizenship Education (EC), Aesthetic and Artistic Education (EEA), Physical and sports education (EPS), Education in technology and productive activities (ETAP);

Considering the delay recorded in the distribution of the modules and the piloting guide;

Considering the incessant disruptions having negatively impacted the teaching-learning process across the country during the year 2023-2024 and the difficult operating conditions of schools aggravated by acts of violence;

Considering that it is the responsibility of the MENFP to regulate the system, to offer quality services to all, and to sanction the study cycles through the evaluation of learning;

Taking into account the various correspondences (complaints) from the Associations of School Directors requesting the postponement of the said measure and meetings with those involved in the field and, after consultation, it was decided:

Article 1: to postpone the integration of these four (4) new subjects in the 9th AF exams until the 2024-2025 school year;

Article 2: to mobilize, from the end of the current school year, all the necessary resources to begin the process of recruiting and training teachers for these four (4) subjects;

Article 3: This ministerial decision takes effect upon publication.
