Haiti - News : Zapping... 25/06/2024 11:12:00 After an outcry from numerous civil society associations, Prime Minister Conille decided to postpone the date of entry into force of the decree of March 1st, 2020 revising the penal code and the criminal procedure code, scheduled for June 24 2024. In a special issue of the official journal Le Moniteur, dated Monday June 24, 2024, the entry into force is postponed to June 19, 2025. Diplomacy : 33 women promoted Head of post Following the evaluation of the profiles and performances of diplomatic staff, and with the approval of Prime Minister Garry Conille, Chancellor Dominique Dupuy initiated recall procedures in several missions and promoted 33 women as Head of Post, from now on, 50% of Haiti's missions will be led by women... a Haitian first which coincides with the International Day of Women in Diplomacy.
