EDH powerless and without resources

According to Electricité d'Haïti (EDH), the company has a total of 62 MW available (Péligre hydroelectric plant 32 megawatts and E-Power 30 megawatts) out of minimum necessary needs of between 180 to 286 megawatts. In addition, EDH cannot supply provincial towns due to a lack of fuel (due to lack of budget) caused by its large debt due to difficulties in collecting invoices from its customers. Shpuild be noted that as part of the EDH needs assessment, members of the Presidential Transition Council (CPT) will make a visit this Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to the Delmas 33 Distribution Center.

End of recess for the gangs

4 influential women in the football sector

Monday July 8, 2024, at the invitation of the Haitian Olympic Committee (COH), 4 influential women from the football sector participated in a training workshop : Katiana A. Prévilon (FIFA Forward Manager), Vanessa Jean (Safeguarding Manager at the FHF ), Surin Endrianah (Executive at AS Truitier) and Sterline Beaubrun (Executive at FC Toro). This initiative aligns with the desire of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) and FIFA, defined in the Women's Football Strategy, aiming for women's football to be taken care of by women.

Excellent customs revenue

The General Administration of Customs (AGD) of Haiti, announced that it had exceeded revenue forecasts for the month of June 2024, collecting a total of 9.1 billion gourdes out of forecasts of 7.9 billion gourdes, i.e. increase of 15.2%.
