During the visit, the Minister Laleau informed that his ministry was currently working on the establishment of a group for the revision of the legal business framework in Haiti, he wishes an alignment with the international standards, and that it is adapted to the needs of modernization of the Haitian economy. Explaining that "the reform package that I will start to attract foreign direct investment cannot be of an absolute inefficiency, without the formation of a body of external commercial representatives." Another important announcement of the Minister is the installation in the Embassies and Consulates of Haiti, of well-trained agents, able to guide and provide the required services to potential investors.
