CEP : Conille requests an inventory

Urgent need to renew the HOPE/HELP law

Prophète, the Director General of the Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) met with the Special Assistant to the American President at the White House, Dan Erickson and the assistant Ms. Lauren Michaels to discuss the urgent need to renew the HOPE HELP law for Haiti as well as economic growth and stabilization policies.

Justice : The President of the BNC summoned to withdraw his remarks

Following the accusation of Raoul Pascal Pierre-Louis, the President of the National Credit Bank (BNC) who claims to have been approached by the Presidential Advisors Louis Gérald Gilles, Smith Augustin and Emmanuel Vertilaire asking him to pay the sum of 100 million Gourdes to keep his position. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-42866-haiti-flash-3-presidential-advisers-in-turmoil-scandal-or-conspiracy.html , Smith Augustin has taken legal action for defamation and attack on honor and dignity. The summons gives Raoul Pascal Pierre-Louis a clear day to retract his remarks. Failure to act or refuse to comply with this request could result in criminal prosecution for defamation, as well as harm to the reputation and integrity of a high-ranking State official.

Barbados military trained in French and Creole

Barbados military forces that will be deployed to Haiti as part of the international security mission have received training in French and Haitian Creole by the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) in Barbados.
