Haiti - FLASH : New armored vehicles arrive in Haiti 24/08/2024 07:06:38 Additionally, as part of the U.S. assistance, U.S. Army Southern Command announced in a statement that it began delivering on Friday, August 23, 2024, by U.S. Air Force C-17 Cargo aircraft to Toussaint Louverture International Airport for the Kenyan-led Mission the first of 24 additional MaxxPro MRAP Mine Resistant Ambush Protected armored vehicles, which will be in addition to the existing fleet of 10 MaxxPros already provided to the Mission by the United States and which are being used to support HNP operations in areas affected by widespread gang violence.
