Following his tour of the North and North-East Department, which allowed the State to better assess the economic potential of the region, the Head of Government informed of some of the first decisions that have begun to be taken "[...] We are therefore moving forward in the supervision of farmers, food security, sanitation, infrastructure to strengthen ports, airports, electricity, training of young people, etc... Without backing down on the security issue, I ask the Government to move forward in each commune, each department so that a better life can start again everywhere."

Some development prospects for the North / North-East region :

- Construction of a new boarding lounge at the Cap-Haïtien International Airport;

- Follow-up with CODEVI for the electrification of Ouanaminthe;

- Relaunch of the Sainte Philomène power plant in Cap-Haïtien;

- Construction of the René Théodore Agricultural Technical High School in the North-East.

Infrastructures, MTPTC intervention in the North / North-East departments :

- Profiling of the Ouanaminthe-Capotille road;

- Repair of the Sainte Suzanne road;

- Widening of the Village Vertières road;

- Cleaning at Ounaminthe.

- 32.7 million (32,776,368 HTG to increase by +10% the capacity of the Maribaroux plain in the North-East department thanks to water from the Massacre River.

Creation of a special national and international commission on the equitable sharing of water resources on the Massacre River.
